TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION
By “transport refrigeration” we mean all systems suitable for refrigerating a moving environment.
The transport of certain kinds of food which need to be preserved at a suitable temperature, requires refrigeration units to be installed in the van.
Cooling Units
Zanotti Spa offers compact DC units specially developed for small-size vehicles suitable for urban areas.
We offer nosemount or roofmount applications.
The frame is made of painted galvanized steel plate, the casing is in anti-shock UV-proof ABS (recyclable), the evaporators are ultraflat.
The refrigeration unit for vans is equipped with cabin control, which controls temperature and start/stop operation automatically by means of a microprocessor.
For a correct use of our refrigeration systems for vans we recommend the following:
- Use suitable packing and provide for adequate air flow for fresh products.
- Pre-cool the load compartment. The refrigeration units for transport application are designed to maintain temperature, not to reduce it.
- Switch off the refrigeration unit during product loading.
- Load the van quickly and efficiently.
- Let air circulate suitably inside the load compartment. Do not obstruct the evaporator.
